First aid at home

If you don’t have symptoms that warrant immediate medical treatment, then here is a list of few things you can do at home before seeing your doctor:

  • If your nose is bleeding – sit down and lean forward while inhaling through your mouth. This way, the blood doesn’t cause drainage down your throat.
  • In case the nose isn’t bleeding – uplift your head to reduce throbbing pain.
