Vertigo - Symptoms, Causes and Treatment

  • Mild to Modearte Cervical Spondylosis causing vertigo may require medication and physiotherapy
  • In certain condition of inner ear causing vertigo, surgery may be required.

Symptoms

A person with vertigo faces the sensation as though their head or space is moving or spinning.

The signs may include:

  • Balancing problems
  • Lightheadedness
  • Sense of motion sickness
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Tinnitus – ringing in the ear called
  • The feeling of fullness in the ear
  • Headaches
  • Nystagmus – during this condition, the eyes move uncontrollably from side to side.
